Overview
Dinkerly is a set of free pickleball tools I built for my club to use during its sessions. Dink & Mix plans fair doubles rotations so everyone shares playing time with different partners and opponents, with courts, timed rounds, scores and a leaderboard. The Tournament Organiser turns a player list into a round robin schedule or knockout draw, runs matches courtside and gives players a shareable link to follow results. Find Your Game is a doubles skills assessment that leaves players with three practice priorities. The tools need no account and work on phone or laptop. Dinkerly is a Progressive Web App (PWA), so each tool can be installed to the home screen with its own app icon and use mobile device APIs like a native app. Stripe handles optional paid PDF packs for printing schedules, scores and standings. I vibe coded the whole app with ChatGPT Astra, developing and hosting it using only natural language, to get familiar with the tool and see the pros and cons of building this way.
